  1. Asseoir is kind of basic but also a bit tricky to conjugate. I’d like to be able to practice it in CN. Very useful app, BTW. Thanks.

  4. I learned that the third person singular of "vendere" in the passato remoto is "vende" with a grave accent on the last "e" and not the acute accent as Conjugation Nation shows.

I checked my Barron's 501 Italian Verbs and it shows the grave accent. However, I checked some sites online and I have found both. :(

I have a screenshot of the error if you want to see it.

  5. I recently started using Conjugation Nation in my French classes. The kids loved it when we did it for être/avoir and first-group verbs. However, I was disappointed today when we tried to do the same activity for second-group verbs.

I directed my class to use the "Select by Stem" function to narrow the focus. This function allows you to choose -ER verbs, -IR verbs, and -RE verbs. These are common breakdowns for first, second, and third-group conjugations, so I selected the one I needed (-ir). However, rather than only selecting verbs that are conjugated according to second-group rules, the program…

I’m sorry for the confusion. I’m not sure that all users have the understanding of groups that you have, and it may be required to have another button, “Select by Group” to avoid confusing existing users.

In the meantime, perhaps you can select the second group verbs and then use the “Save List” feature to save time in class.

Thanks for using the app, and I appreciate your feedback.

I’d like to add this, it’s just a matter of finding time.

You can practice your own pronunciation by saying the word yourself using the speech recognition feature.

Let me know if you need help with that, it was quite tricky to add and I haven’t received any feedback on it, but personally I think it’s very helpful.

Thanks for using the app :)

  8. The CN Italian app says that the 3rd person plural, present tense, of viaggiare is "loro viaggino", but I believe it is "loro viaggiano"

  11. Please correct the third person singular preterite for reírse. The app says that it should be "se rió or rio" when it should say "se rió or se rio." Thus it returns an error for "ella se rio" but no error for "ella rio."

  16. Make an option that shows the root verb, a tap reveals the definition, tap to the next verb. I got really good at conjugating a list of about 50 verbs in 3 different tenses. But for the life of me, I can't remember what half of them mean.

  19. For example, it's hard to remember what "imperfect" is even in English! So I had to buy a separate app to remember the meaning of the tense I'm studying. It was worth it because your app is awesome! But I figure this will be super easy for you to do. What would be harder for you I'm sure is if the tap translation feature could include the actual tense being tested, instead of the generic infinitive. But I understand if that would be asking too much. My favorite Spanish app! Thank you!
