Fix bug. When holding letters i and e, the screen for the accent, etc. displays, yet choosing one of them only advances the definition.

No problem Kathy!
I'm just glad it's not a bug. :)

Gianni,
If you hadn't been so attentive, I would just shrink away in embarassment. Been working, trying to get this to work and realize it was TOTALLY user error on my part in the way I was accessing the letter/accent box.
I am so very sorry for all the time you spent trying to fix my "problem". Please accept my sincere apologies.

Gianni,
Appreciate the time you're taking with this. It's a great app that you should really be proud of.

Ok, thanks for your help in troubleshooting. I'll get my hands on one of those and give it a shot. I took a look at the code, and nothing jumps out, so I really need to reproduce it, change stuff, and then verify the fix if I'm going to resolve the bug.
Perhaps in the meantime you can install the spanish keyboard? Settings -> General -> Keyboard -> International Keyboards
It's a little like cheating, but you can type the words without needing to use the accent keys, because auto correct will insert it for you.
You can also turn off accent checking in the Conjugation Nation menu. But they are important, so also not the best solution.
Thanks,

Yes, I have the original Ipad.

Hi Kathy,
I'm sorry, but I still can't reproduce this. I can hold down e or i, and choose the accented character with no problems on both iPad and iPhone.I'm testing on iPad 2 and iPhone 4, if that could have anything to do with it, I'm not sure.
Are you on iPad 1? If so I will track one down and give it a shot.
Thanks,
GianniPS, I'm going to delete the other issue that you created since it's a duplicate.

Thanks for addressing this, Gianni. I thought you might really be on to something - hadn't upgraded software on my Ipad on ages. However, spent a good part of the afternoon upgrading to latest I OS 5 and the problem is still present. It's weird because I know, when I first downloaded it, it worked fine. Didn't use the app for a while (got lazy in my studies) and, when I started back up again, had this bug.

Hi Kathy, I can't reproduce this. What device are you on, iPad or iPhone? And which iOS?
