Try to make CN Spanish more stable, I get persistent crashing.
Stability issues have been resolved.

OK, as soon as I loaded iOS4.2 on the iPod, the new update to CN Spanish showed up in the app store. I am using it and so far no problems, hopefully that takes care of it. Looking forward to the next release. thanks.

Gianni, in case it helps to locate the issue, here is a detailed description of the issue I have. I am on an iPod Touch, I have not yet updated to iOS 4.2.
The app never crashes on startup, I always get to the home screen OK. The options and the conj. reference work fine. The crashing only happens during the quiz. hoosing 10 or 25 questions does not affect the problem. (I don't use the 50 question quiz yet.) What seems to happen is, sometimes the program goes to fetch a new question and can't seem to do so. The app will pause for 2 to 3 seconds, then I am sent back to the iPod home screen.
It can happen on the very first question, before any answers are marked right or wrong. That is, I can press the 10 or 25 to start the quiz, and it pauses 2 to 3 seconds longer than expected, and then crashes right then. Other times I get through 20+ questions and it works fine. It seems to happen at random, I can't predict how many questions before a crash.
It can happen after I type a correct or incorrect answer, it doesn't matter. The app pauses for the time I specify in the options, that part works fine. But sometimes it will pause 2 to 3 seconds extra while fetching the next question, and as soon as it does that I know it is about to crash, then it does.
Hope this helps, thanks for the support.

A fix has been submitted to the APP store for both the keyboard issue and the stability issue. Please let me know if the app crashes in the future. It was extremely stable until iOS 4, and now I think it will be going forward.

The new iOS (4.2.1) broke the Spanish version completely. Now it doesn't work at all on iPhone 4 or 3GS.

And yes. I'm on iPhone OS 4.1. Nothing else crashes, just Conj. Nation. And I can't figure out why I can't get it on my iPad at all.

You are lucky. It crashes for me 8 out of 10 quizzes. And I cannot get it on my ipad. When I'm on my iPad and search for it in the App. Store it doesn't show up. When I use iTunes (because it is on my iPhone) and I click on it with my iPad attached, it starts to copy to my iPad but then fails and automatically unchecks. It is the best conjugation program from a learning standpoint but by far the worst app from a technical operating perspective in the app. store. How about making a version that I can use on my Mac so I can just use it without this frustration. I'd pay more if that is what it took.

Robert, you're on an iPhone 4 w iOS 4.1? The app crashes for me are seldom, but they do happen. Once in around 300 questions.

I can only finish the 10 question quiz 1 out of five times. The other 4 times the app. crashes.

Thanks for the quick response! In case i didnt make it clear before, this seems to be more and more a problem with lots of apps since iOS 4. For some reason apps that worked great before now are less stable (like Pandorafor example). I wonder if apple needs to do something about the situation. Anyway I like this app much better than its competition in the App Store.

Hey Jim, I was hoping the last update would have fixed the problem. I didn't see any crash logs like I saw before after the update, so I thought it did. I will take another look before the next release which should be in December. I apologize for the crashes, it's some kind of weird memory leak that's hard to pinpoint.
Thanks,

By the way, I have tried reinstalling several times, rebooting the iPod, etc and nothing seems to help.

Like a lot of apps, CN seems less stable with iOS 4. I can't finish a 25 question quiz about 90 percent of the time. Yes, I have the current iOS and current version of CN. Please try to make the app more stable. This app has been great for my spanish, I use it a lot! Thanks! -J
