  1. Add imperativo negativo to the imperative mood

Conjugation nation is a decent app, but it lacks a vital mood for conjugation; the negative imperative. Although it is classed under imperative, it conjugates differently from giving positive commands and needs to be practiced in its own right.
Especially in the most important commands (to the informal second person singular and plural)

    Habla!
    No Hables!!

    Hablad!
    No Habléis!

And it's also good for users to recognize and learn that the formal moods do not change between negative and positive, a mistake learners can make.

It's important to know this by heart in Castellano, so it would be very handy…

    • Allow "rewind to previous word" while doing the test

It would be great to allow a rewind while doing the test, especially to access the conj.-table in case of an incorrect answer. While the correct form is displayed after an incorrect answer, I find it even more helpful to have the full reference for the selected tense.

        • More verbs...

This may have been addressed already, but I would like to see the vocabulary list expanded. I've come across a few verbs that my Spanish 2 students need to learn that are not included in the current version of CN (like 'torcerse'). It would also be helpful to add the option to make verbs reflexive (mover to moverse, for example).

            Hi Cory,

I’ll try to find verbs that we don’t have, like torcer and torcerse, and do an update. That is an important verb, and I’m surprised it wasn’t in the Barron’s 501 essential verbs book that Conjugation Nation used for its verb list.

However, we don’t want to quiz the user on obscure verbs, so we’re not going to overload the app with every verb we can find.

Initially I limited the verb selection to 200 of the most essential verbs I thought people would use, but users requested more. When I added more, users complained there were too many. Can’t win here really :)

If you find any other verbs that you think I should add let me know.

I’ll be working on an update in March.

            Thanks,
            Gianni

          • For French

It's confusion to have "Je" when the following verb is starting by a vowel.
Could you put an option : "Je/j'"
            A larger list of verbs.

              • word pronunciation play back

Really got to add this so we know we are saying the word correctly.

I’d like to add this, it’s just a matter of finding time.

You can practice your own pronunciation by saying the word yourself using the speech recognition feature.

Let me know if you need help with that, it was quite tricky to add and I haven’t received any feedback on it, but personally I think it’s very helpful.

Thanks for using the app :)
