  1. Add s’asseoir to French verb list

Asseoir is kind of basic but also a bit tricky to conjugate. I’d like to be able to practice it in CN. Very useful app, BTW. Thanks.

Help! I think I would like this app but maybe it doesn't load properly on my 8 Plus? I keep getting messages about the option button, but there is NO option button anywhere. Where is the option button?

I had an issue with the iPhone 8 plus that I can’t reproduce on the simulator. Meaning, I need an actual iPhone 8 Plus, and I don’t have one :(

There is an attempted fix going out for Conjugation Nation Italian tonight.

Hopefully it works and I’ll get Spanish fixed right away!

      • Get Vos on the list!

I am learning Castellano in Argentina, and I bought the app that contained "all conjugations" only to find that there is no vos!!

        Please add this!

Hey Evan, this is a great idea. I’ve studied vos when I was in Argentina. I have a lot of other things to work on with limited time right now, so I’m going to move this to planned, but it won’t be worked on for a few months.

                • fix the "Select by Stem" function.

I recently started using Conjugation Nation in my French classes. The kids loved it when we did it for être/avoir and first-group verbs. However, I was disappointed today when we tried to do the same activity for second-group verbs.

I directed my class to use the "Select by Stem" function to narrow the focus. This function allows you to choose -ER verbs, -IR verbs, and -RE verbs. These are common breakdowns for first, second, and third-group conjugations, so I selected the one I needed (-ir). However, rather than only selecting verbs that are conjugated according to second-group rules, the program…

I’m sorry for the confusion. I’m not sure that all users have the understanding of groups that you have, and it may be required to have another button, “Select by Group” to avoid confusing existing users.

In the meantime, perhaps you can select the second group verbs and then use the “Save List” feature to save time in class.

Thanks for using the app, and I appreciate your feedback.

I’d like to add this, it’s just a matter of finding time.

You can practice your own pronunciation by saying the word yourself using the speech recognition feature.

Let me know if you need help with that, it was quite tricky to add and I haven’t received any feedback on it, but personally I think it’s very helpful.

Thanks for using the app :)

                      • Can you make the Tense larger? I am missing some because I misread the tense.

When I am doing the quizes sometimes I will type in the wrong tense and get it wrong. Could you please make the tense larger. Make the "Present" and "Preterite" at least as large as the verb I am supposed to conjugate.

                        • The app says that the 3rd person plural, present tense, of viaggiare is "loro viaggino". This is incorrect. It is "loro viaggiano"

The CN Italian app says that the 3rd person plural, present tense, of viaggiare is "loro viaggino", but I believe it is "loro viaggiano"

                            • More verbs...

This may have been addressed already, but I would like to see the vocabulary list expanded. I've come across a few verbs that my Spanish 2 students need to learn that are not included in the current version of CN (like 'torcerse'). It would also be helpful to add the option to make verbs reflexive (mover to moverse, for example).

                                Hi Cory,

I’ll try to find verbs that we don’t have, like torcer and torcerse, and do an update. That is an important verb, and I’m surprised it wasn’t in the Barron’s 501 essential verbs book that Conjugation Nation used for its verb list.

However, we don’t want to quiz the user on obscure verbs, so we’re not going to overload the app with every verb we can find.

Initially I limited the verb selection to 200 of the most essential verbs I thought people would use, but users requested more. When I added more, users complained there were too many. Can’t win here really :)

If you find any other verbs that you think I should add let me know.

I’ll be working on an update in March.

                                Thanks,
                                Gianni

                                        • Could you make a German version

Can you make a German version please. It looks really useful and all my language colleagues for other languages can use it in class but not the German department!
